Paper Shoot

For this project, i was prompted to design and make a garment out of paper. I knew i wanted to make a skirt, but thought paper would be too harsh to create the shape i was going for. I used pattern tracing paper, cut into strips, folded and layered in 3's. The skirt looks flowy and delicate, like a flower, even though it is made of paper. i decided to shoot in a similar environment and have the model look peaceful, to emphasize the contrast.
